What's eating our broccolli?

Hmmm...every night this our brocolli is getting chomped a little bit more. Paul pulled two green worms off of them last night. Have to look them up in my new Organic Gardening Book from Kari, Kevin, and Brian. Any ideas?

Grow Garden GROW!

Grow Garden GROW! We have been mulching and watering and feeding and weeding and hoeing and planting some more. This is a good year for gardening. With all this rain I have some time to work in my pottery studio and the garden is still growing. I hope its blooming in August.

Hooray for the rain!

We have had lots of good rain this year. Bad for tourism, perfect for someone who wants gardens to be blooming in August. Every time it rains it saves me about 4 hours of watering...More time in the studio. It's a beautiful day!

A year ago today

Couples Shower

Paul's Family was so nice to throw us a shower for so many nice gifts.  We are thankful!

Cabin Canoe Trip

YAY!!!! We are not working late tonight!  Canoeing, camping, Lots of Laughing,  Campfire,  Shrimp boil, Funny Friends!  YAY!!Even though it was cold...We just had a BLAST!!!!     

Paul's 30 Birthday

Today was fun... I had field day at school, we played Duck, Duck, Water balloon!  Then I went shopping for our canoe trip weekend.  It was fun to spend money on things for a fun weekend, and not worry about it.  I knew it was Paul's birthday and we could celebrate.  Then I came home to Paul doing chores...Good boy!  We planted his grape vines from Kari and Brian. The Sunflowers are growing!!! It was such a nice evening Paul felt like weed whippin.  Then took a boat ride and had a fun night. Later Tim and Erin came over for a night cap.  Good Times.

Thank You Lasagnas

I am inventing a new type of Lasagna for Paul's Birthday, tommorrow.  Layers of red spicy sausage sauce, white sauce, spinach and sauteed mushrooms and garlic, riccotta, mozza, and parmesan. I hope he likes it!  I better triple the batch and make some thank you lasagnas...so many people have been so giving to us lately...I think I'd be happy with one of these layers for lunch or dinner.

Gomer's Chicken Dinner

MMMMM, we grubbed on a good chicken dinner, grilled up by Gomer.  Kari presents some garlic smashed potatoes.  We all dug in off the platter.  Family Style!

Then we caught her back in the bedroom kissing this guy....Must have been some good chicken.

Our New Kitty, Dahlia

We love our new kitty Dahlia.   She does not love Kelsey.  Hmm.... I wonder when they will grow to love each other?
